The Palm House – the gateway to the Whitsundays

When you convene your event at The Palm House you’ll be perfectly located to discover the magic of the Whitsundays’ 74 island playground during your event, or as a pre or post event activity.

The Palm House also gives your delegates the unique opportunity to bring the whole family to stay while they’re at work, as BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort has the perfect recipe for keeping everyone happy, entertained and productive.

Our dedicated Groups and Events Co-ordinator would love to organise all your touring, experiences and events like trips to the Great Barrier Reef, or to stunning Whitehaven Beach. Perhaps an island hopping sail on a maxi yacht, a fishing trip or for the adrenalin junkies, skydiving, parasailing and tiger moth aerobatic flights? You name it, we’ll make it happen.

Whitsunday Islands

There is no conference destination like the Whitsundays. While the sheer natural beauty of this tropical island paradise is inspiration in itself, the area is home to so many ‘bucket list’ experiences, as well as a seemingly unending list of activities that are just perfect for teambuilding. Being located on the beautiful coast, The Palm House offers an affordable conferencing option. And of course what staff member wouldn’t be incredibly motivated by an incentive trip to this magic part of the world?

Airlie Beach Venue

The Palm House is an ideally located Whitsundays event venue and the ideal base to explore before, during or after your corporate event. Our Groups and Events Co-ordinator and support team are locals, so they know the best places, the best tours and the best times to visit, and will create a memorable itinerary for your team. From half and full day tours to diving the Great Barrier Reef, snorkelling with turtles, sailing on a maxi yacht, or playing a team game on one of the world’s most famous beaches, we’ll organise everything.

If your conference finishes on a Friday you have the perfect excuse to stay a little longer so you can cross off another item on your bucket list. Simply earmark Saturday for a Great Barrier Reef discovery, a trip to Whitehaven Beach or if you’re up for an adrenalin hit, try skydiving, parasailing or an aerobatic flight. Then come Sunday, you can just chill out during a lazy café breakfast in Airlie Beach before flying home.
